The trip up Husedalen from Kinsarvik to Hardangervidda is a stunning scenery in Ullensvang. With four impressive waterfalls in a row: Tveitafossen, Nyastølsfossen, Nykkjesøyfossen and Søtefossen. All within walking distance from Huse Guestegard.

An hour's drive from Kinsarvik to Eidfjord is Kjeåsen - a shelf farm which is termed as one of the most inaccessible mountain farms, 600 meters above the fjord, it lies at the edge of a cliff. The farm is still in operation, and tourism has become an important part of the industrial base. During the powerplant development in Eidfjord they built a road, so today you can visit by car, although many prefer the old trail that was used before the road came.

In Kinsarvik you will find Mikkelparken, the only amusement park in Hordaland.
Here can your children meet Mikkel and enjoy many different playgrounds and entertainment. 

If you would like to rest your hiking legs for one day, you can just sit in the garden and enjoy the stunning views.
